How we make money

GetMeThis is free for hosts and guests. To keep it that way, we plan to earn money through affiliate links: when someone clicks a link to a retailer or service provider and makes a qualifying purchase, that seller may pay us a commission. We are setting up these partnerships now; this page explains how they work, and we'll list our affiliate programmes here as they go live.

What this means for you

• You pay the same price whether or not a link is an affiliate link.
• We may add affiliate tracking to links to retailers, including links a host adds to their list. This never changes which product or store the link opens.
• Hosts choose what goes on their lists. Affiliate relationships don't change what appears on anyone's wishlist.
• Links that may earn us a commission are marked as sponsored in the page's code, as search engines require.
• If we ever feature or recommend products ourselves in return for payment, those placements will be clearly labelled "Sponsored".
