About these terms
GetMeThis is run by a small team of individuals based in Pakistan ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you useGetMeThis's website and services. By using them you agree to these terms and to ourprivacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. In the EEA and UK, under-16s need a parent or guardian's consent to join the waitlist.
The service
GetMeThis lets you build wishlists for events and share them with guests using a link. It is free. If we ever introduce paid features, we'll tell you the price before you're charged.
Share links
When you create a share link, we store your list so the link can be short, and changes you make in the same browser update it. Anyone with the link can view the list. You can delete it with "Start over" in that browser, or by emailing us. We delete shared lists 18 months after they were last changed, and may remove lists that break these terms. You are responsible for who you share it with and for not including sensitive personal information in it.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you add to your lists. You give us permission to display it to anyone who opens your link, to the extent needed to run the service. You must not use GetMeThis to:
- add anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or misleading;
- link to malware, scams, phishing pages or illegal goods;
- infringe someone else's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- send spam, or interfere with or try to break the site or its security.
Purchases from third parties
We don't sell the items on wishlists. Purchases are made directly with the retailer or service provider, and their terms, prices, delivery and returns policies apply. We aren't responsible for third-party products, services or websites, or for prices and availability shown on a list.
Reservations and pledges
Reservations help guests avoid buying the same gift. They are saved only on the guest's own device, so other guests may not see them, and they don't guarantee an item will be bought or still be available. Group-gift pledges are promises between guests and the host — GetMeThis does not collect, hold or transfer money and is not part of any payment arrangement.

Our content
The GetMeThis name, logo, design and site content belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them, except for sharing links to the site and to your own lists.
Availability and changes
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or stop features at any time. We may update these terms; for significant changes we'll give notice on the site, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
Ending your use
You can stop using GetMeThis at any time. We may restrict access for anyone who breaks these terms, and we may block or report links that are used for illegal or harmful content.
Our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused by third-party products, retailers, links or other users. Because the service is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or removes rights you have as a consumer under the laws of the country where you live.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Pakistan. If you live elsewhere as a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory laws of your country and may bring a claim in your local courts.
General
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
